Samsung d980's main feature is touch screen and dual SIM support. Earlier Samsung made an attempt to create mobile phone with big touch screen and dual SIM card support. This device was marked as Samsung P720 but working was stopped because they didn’t manage to realize SIM cards switching by means of touch screen. The D980 only features tri-band GSM connectivity (900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) with GPRS and EDGE, unlike the F480 which has 3G connectivity too. These aspects aside, the two phones are quite similar, when it comes to both their design and their capabilities.

Everybody knows how hard it is to find something in the dark when you are not prepared. It's smart to use your phone as a flashlight because you have it everywhere you go. Now, the problem is that most of the phones have a low level of brightness and cannot substitute a normal flashlight. Even the iPhone is not good enough as it is. We all know the old trick with the white image displayed with your iPhone's Photo application. That's not good enough too. I want my iPhone to shine as bright or brighter than any traditional or LED flashlight. Doapp, a registered developer of Apple iPhone applications, developed a new tool named DoApp myLite™ that allows your iPhone (or iPod Touch) to double as your own personal digital flashlight. |
