Sony Ericsson has announced the 12 megapixel camera phone called Sony Ericsson Idou.
Based on the Symbian S60 Sony Ericsson Idou has a 3.5-inch touch screen with 640 x 320 resolution, turbo 3G (HSDPA or HSUPA), WiFi, GPS, bluetooth, micro M2 memory card slot and a xenon flash.

Amazon Kindle 2, the next generation wireless reading device is available for preorder from Amazon Website. With a sleek and thin design that makes Kindle 2 as thin as a typical magazine and lighter than a paperpack, the new Kindle has seven times more storage and now holds over 1,500 books. It has a longer battery life and faster page turns. An advanced display provides even crisper images and clearer text for an improved book-like reading experience. And Kindle 2 even reads to you, with “Read to Me”, our new Text to Speech feature.

 

Acer released its first smartphone, the DX900, which is the first dual SIM mobile phone that  supports HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE connectivity. The DX900 PDA phone was designed by ETEN (ETEN Glofiish DX900) which has been acquried by Acer. Acer DX900 is powerd by a fast 533 MHz Samsung S3C 6400 processor and has 256MB of ROM and 128 of RAM.

Sony Ericsson is introducing its first mobile phone with Smile Shutter,which detects a person's smile and automatically takes a picture. The Smile Shutter is also part of a firmware updatethe 8.1 megapixel C905, introduced together with the C510 at CES. The C510 Cyber-shot is powered by a  3.2 Megapixel Cyber-Shot auto focus camera witch has no Xenon Flash. Other features include a 2.2-inch 240×320 LCD display, 100MB of internal memory, Memory Stick Micro (M2) card slot,Bluetooth A2DP, FM tuner, YouTube support, built-in media player, Google Maps, photo geo-taggng.

Next month at the Consumer Electronics Show  LG unveils the LG-GD910, the world's first 3G touchscreen watch phone. The LG-GD910 supports voice-dialling, text-to-speech. The  LG-GD910 has a 1.43-inch touchscreen and it’s also waterproof with built-in speakerphone. The LG-GD910 supports the latest 7.2Mbps HSDPA, so downloads should be fast.On the watch face is a video camera for video calls or video capture.
