Clad in an orange and black case, the Aspire Predator G7700 is based on Intel's Quad-Core Extreme processor and packs high-end features, like a Blu-ray Disc drive, liquid cooling, and four hot-swappable SATA (Serial-ATA) disk drives. The systems also come with Nvidia's SLI graphics technology, which supports two graphics cards and up to four graphics processors. Reports suggest the base model will cost €1,699 (£1,360) in Europe.Acer's Predator line will compete against other high-end systems, such as HP's Voodoo line, as well as Dell's XPS series and Alienware line.
The market for these systems is a relatively small group of hardcore gamers, but these systems command much higher prices that mainstream desktops, making it an attractive market for PC makers. Source News: http://www.acer.com
