While all producers of traditional laptops and other companies outside the scope are comeing on the market with mini laptops, Sony is against the current and brings out a notebook with 18.4 inch screen. One thing is clear, Sony Vaio AW series has nothing in common with portability. Carrying a 18-inch laptop will not be certainly a very easy task. Instead, the Vaio AW has something in common with BRAVIA LCD's: 3 LEDs (red, green and blue), a natural color reproduction. The screen offers a resolution HD, 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Under the hood, Sony Vaio AW is hiding a processor Intel Core 2 Duo T9600, a video card NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT with 512 MB memory and a RAID of 128 GB SSD and a SATA 500 GB. Missing from the equation is the amount of memory, but we found that the software included is Photoshop Elements and Lightroom from Adobe. If you want to buy Sony Vaio AW, the laptop will be launched in Japan in the next weeks. The price was not announced officially, but is expected to be over 3,000 dollars. Check here the different prices and variants .
