Dunnington,the processor with 6 cores from Intel, it seems that will be launched on September 15. Intel is preparing to launch the new processor Xeon 7400 dedicated server market. Having the code name Dunnington, 7400 Xeon processors are the first commercial processors from Intel with 6 processing cores and the latest from Penryn family.
The processor will have 16 MB shared L3 cache and the socket will be compatible with the Xeon 7300. Intel Dunnington processors Six-Core could be released next week at the VMWorld fair from Las Vegas.
